[Aidou has a question today. It's his first time actually hatching a Pokémon and there seems to be something wrong with the newborn, so he wants to make sure everything's alright.]

You know, I thought Ponyta was the type to have a fiery mane or something. I don't mind if it doesn't have one, but is that a something to be worried about?

[He shows the video feed a Ponyta. It hasn't been too long since its hatched so he's small and a bit shaky on the legs.]

I wonder if I should show it to the nurses or--

[Then suddenly, the Ponyta grows out its mane and tail and walks next to its trainer, looking rather proud that it has managed to do so!

... unfortunately the flame actually burns because he's too excited. So viewers get to see Aidou jumping around with his sleeve on fire.]

AAAAAAAA! Put it out! PUT IT OUT! [The Ponyta looks worried so its approaching the trainer...!] Wait what are you-- DON'T MAKE IT WORSE, AKATSUKI!

[...and the feed ends as Aidou bumps into the gear.]

[Ponyta notices the Blitzle. A friend already? That's nice! He'll look curiously over at the Pokémon, forgetting his trainer for a while (who's currently tossing a water glass on his sleeve).]

[New friend! Blitzle seems to be more than happy to get to know his new friend as well, not even noticing the boy walking up behind the two horse-pokémon in his search for his own.
... ~~Fire horse is so pretty~~ He looks up to Aidou and frowns a little before his eyes go back to his Blitzle.] You shouldn't wander off.

[Ponyta tilts his head. Oh, so this friend had a trainer too. Ooh...
Meanwhile Aidou's managed to put himself away from danger.]

Oh, it's you.

[Blitzle doesn't seem too off-put by his trainer showing up, only nickering softly before he rears back and starts to run down the hall. Who's the fastest?
Why can't the trainers have as much fun as the pokémon are having?]

[Akatsuki the Ponyta will run afterthe Blitzle happily~]

So you got stuck here too. [Don't mind him just looking out the window. Stupid rain... He wants to get going already.]

I'm not crazy enough to travel in that weather.

I don't think anyone is. [Well, maybe save for that crazy soldier guy, but we won't get into him.]

[Yes, the crazy soldier guy.]

Not according to this world, but I certainly don't want to be what I'm supposed to be.

[You'll have to explain more if you want him to quit staring at you, Aidou. As it is, that's pretty much all he's doing even as the two horse pokémon race back to their trainers.]

I'm supposed to be a breeder. Make it possible for Pokémon to make eggs.

That's something trainers can't normally do?

[Interesting. Not really relevant to him (or so he thinks), but interesting.]

I think they can, but I guess breeders can do it better or something... [He shrugs.]

That's something I'll have to watch out for then.

[Yeah he doesn't want to end up with a hundred eggs out of no where.]

That's what I'm going to watch out for as well. It's just stupid.

So where did you get it? [Yeah like hell he's not interested in the fire horse.]

Huh? [Oh, right, the Ponyta.] Breeding Center.

Is that so. [Don't mind him, Aidou. He's just whipping out the pokédex to check on Ponyta's location. He might want to catch one in the future.]

[Don't mind the pony poking the Pokédex. Curious baby is curious.]

[He doesn't mind. In fact, he'll lower it a little so said baby can sniff it and decide what to think of it.]

[He'll just sniff it for now. It's not food or sweets, so he's not really that interested in it... but he'll make a happy cheer for Sasuke anyway, since he did a nice thing.]

[His expression might soften a little briefly, but it doesn't last long and he puts his Pokédex away before Blitzle trots up and nuzzles under his arm in a demand for pets.]

... Take care of it.

[Aww, Akatsuki wants pets too. So he seeks attention from Aidou who... actually pets him.]

Of course.

[He nods curtly before walking off, pausing to let his Blitzle catch up to him so he can slink off into his room once more.]
